I was thinking through this recently as I prepared a "new members" class for Hickory Withe. I wonder if you would agree with my conclusion? I decided, like you, that the "great commission" was not enough to summarize the work (or mission) of the church; but, in addition to the Great Commission is also the "Great Commandments" of loving God with all our hearts, minds, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves.
